Nathalie Lehnen receives DZIF MD Stipend

Nathalie Lehnen was awarded with an MD stipend funded by the German Center of Infection Research (DZIF). Nathalie is a medical student and joined the Klein Lab in June 2016. In her project, she aims to advance single cell cloning strategies to identify antibodies targeting infectious pathogens. To this end, Nathalie includes and combines novel approaches in molecular and computational biology. 

The DZIF Academy funds outstanding MD students to perform their doctoral thesis in the field of infectious diseases. The purpose of the program is to offer MD students the possibility to perform high level experimental or clinical research and to successfully finish their doctoral thesis at one of the DZIF partner laboratories or study sites.
